Original sofa – Bovenkamp – Code 1423

This beautiful sofa, with its balanced proportions and organic lines, is completely original from the period – intact in both structure and fabric.

Designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp – 1960 –

Bovenkamp was a Dutch furniture company, active in the 1950s/60s.

It collaborated with several Danish architects and designers, such as Arne Vodder and Aksel Bender Madsen, who designed this elegant and timeless piece, with clear Scandinavian lines. The furniture produced by this company were objects of high carpentry, thanks to the use of solid wood – in this case oak and teak make up the structure, which with soft lines embraces the seat.
