Armchairs mod. PP201 -Hans Wegner – code 1010 –

Chairs with teak frame and black leather seat, mod. PP201 – designed by Hans Wegner in 1969 and produced by PP MOBLER, Denmark.

Available n 6 chairs, very good condition. perfect patina.

This model is a combination between the Chinese chair and the Round chair.

The backrest, once again, is curved with the lumbar support in mind.

In his first PP Mobler chair, Wegner tried to minimize the waste of material in production.

The back bar, is cut and then assembled together to give the precise curvature .

The lumbar support is then milled and glued.

The exact joining point of assembly of the parts is marked by a darker wood inlay, so as not to hide the assembled and disassembled parts, and to soften the design.
