” Annika ” coffee table – Cod.773

The Annika coffee table, presented here again in one of the first rare editions, is one of the examples of the distinctive design of Bruno Mathsson, methodical perfectionist, incessant experimenter, constantly seeking improvement in form, materials, method and art of making. The three slender, though solid, legs from which the top rises almost to leaven in the air, as had already happened for the Eva or Pernilla series, express the wavy, biomorphic forms of a designer who, together with Alvar Aalto, strongly believed in the man-nature symbiosis, creating an organic design and laying the foundations of ergonomics.
